Want more Paitence? Try Yoga meditation
Hi Yoga fans
Hope you are having an awesome day.
"Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is paitence."
Studies have found that people who are impatient usually have difficulty resisting the need for immediate gratification.
Sometimes they appear to others to be impulsive. These same studies have shown that meditation helps with developing paitence and curbing impulsiveness. The silent witness meditation technique is especially helpful in this instance, if you have ever thought that you would like to be a more patient person, let me reassure you it is possible.
If you would like to know more feel welcome to check out our timetable for class times, meditation, hatha yoga, yoga nidra and more. Look for an activity that would suit you and your schedule. Come and see us soon.
Have a great day.

A yoga lifestyle encourages thankfulness and gratitude
Hey yoga meditation fans
We hope you are having a meditative day.
The consistent practice of yoga meditation cleanses the heart and mind, revealing one's shortcomings. A person therefore is less likely to display arrogance, due to the gradual, natural development of humility within the heart.
At the same time, a person feels thankful, and grateful for all that is good in their lives, their family, friends, situation, having a roof over their head, whatever it may be .. gratefulness begins to unfold naturally from a place deep within due to contact with the purifying effects of sacred sound meditation.
If you would like to learn more check our Timetable and come join us in meditation. You will love it :)

To our new event. The first one will be on Thursday May 1st. Hope to see you then. For more details on "Mantras On Tahiti" keep reading.
Greetings to those who already know about the DEVINE benefits of singing meditations (traditionally known as Kirtan) AND welcome also to new comers who would like to learn about and take part in this beautiful, ancient, scientifically based process.
This timeless practice is the perfect antidote for modern day society which sadly appears to be synonymous with struggle, stress, chaos and toxic living conditions.
This is an amazing gift passed to us by past and present self realised yoga masters, free of charge. A brilliant technique to help us uncover our spiritual essence and connect us with the Supreme. Authentic mantras also come with attractive side benefits. They help bring us into balance, help us to relax, refocus, find our center and simply let go of anxiety and life's challenges.
We invite you to come reconnect spiritually, nourish your inner being, experience heartfelt joy, harmony and happiness. Sit, or dance, breathe and listen carefully, whilst becoming deeply absorbed in the powerful transcendent sound of liberating, ancient, soulful mantras. You then have the opportunity to sing in response. Repeating meditations that uncover your pure spiritual essence, naturally.
There is nothing to join. This is a totally non-sectarian way of uniting all sentient beings, on a journey of self discovery, a pathway paved with beautiful mystical mantras.
No special skills required, no previous experience needed, this practice is suitable for everyone.
Om Hari Om
Peace to all living beings

Good person through - Meditation
Take care
At times you may feel as though being a 'good' person is slightly out of your grasp.
Even if you wanted to be a good person, where is the instruction manual? Where are the teachers, the coaches, and the schools? People spend years studying how to be good at everything - from sports to medicine to plumbing - except how to be good to people.
You have a really good chance of becoming a 'good' person by practicing meditation and applying the tried and true formula's of past and present Yoga saints. They teach us that we are neither our earth body or our subtle body (the mind or thoughts).
We offer Yoga Nidra classes here at our Yoga studio, through this practice you are able to experience this for yourself. One of the exercises, is to watch the thoughts that come into your mind and exit again, just as you watch a cloud come into view and then pass off into the distance. In this way you are able to have practical experience of not being the mind or thoughts within the mind. You are in fact the observer of the mind. Knowing that 'you' are in charge of your thoughts enables you to better control or manage the mind and your thoughts.
Through the practice of meditation you also become aware of the fact that we are all brothers and sisters, kindred spirits in a sense, muddling through life. The revelations that come from this understanding make it so that you automatically become more aware that you should be more caring and more careful of how you treat others, through word or action.
One must remember that not all meditations are equal. Not all meditations lead to the same place. It is important to receive your meditation from an authentic source and that the meditations are linked to the Lord of Yoga - Yogesvara the Supreme.
This is a massive topic, if you would like to find out more on who 'YOU' are, your essence - I encourage you to contact us, leave a comment or visit our Fb page and sister blogs. It's a super fascinating subject one that I'm sure you will find once given due diligence will enrich your life forever.

Meditation Instruments

Meditation
Is best practiced daily, although even a little every now and then is very positive and will leave an indelible impression on one's heart and mind, a person will be uplifted and changed forever. The beautiful practice of sacred sound meditation (kirtan) has been practiced and taught by Yoga masters for centuries. This practice has been passed along from person to person and is an extraordinarily precious gift, the most valuable of all special gifts, potent, very simple and purifying.
Meditation is easy to practice and is very enjoyable, it has a freeing effect on everyone, all living beings. This meditation bestows upon the practitioner profound long term benefits, spiritually enriching the lives of all those fortunate enough to come into contact with these meditations, regardless of body they are in.
As you can see there are many instruments that can accompany your practice of meditation. Instruments are best played softly embellishing your practice, played in such a way as to support rather than overpower one's practice.
It is recommended that you listen carefully to the sacred sounds, singing meditation (kirtan) and be ready to respond to the person leading the meditation. This is referred to as call and response.
If you would like to know more about this, check out our timetable and drop by for a class. Txt us to rsvp so we know when to expect you. We look forward to meeting you soon.

Benefits of Laughter - Benefits of Yoga Meditation
Benefits of Laughter
1. Laughter relieves stress:
Endorphins are a natural stress reliever. Making a point of sharing a laugh with family or friends each day can lessen overall stress.
2. Laughter reduces pain:
Laughing releases natural painkillers in your body. It really is the best medicine.
Laughing helps create and maintain bonds. Laughing with coworkers and new acquaintances insures your relationships will remain positive and enjoyable.
4. Laughter improves breathing:
Laughter empties your lungs of more air than it takes in resulting in a cleansing effect - similar to deep breathing. This is especially helpful for people who are suffering from respiratory ailments, such as asthma.
5. Laughter gives you a mini workout:
Yoga Meditation
We've probably all used, or at least heard, the phrase 'my sides ache' after laughing too much. Well, it's no real surprise. A good belly laugh exercises the diaphragm, contracts your abdominal muscles and also works your shoulders. This helps to relieve tension and can make you feel more relaxed.
6. Laughter boosts your immune system and is free:
Researchers have found that laughter actually boosts the immune system, increasing the number of antibody producing T cells. It also lowers the levels of at least four hormones that are associated with stress, so after a good laugh you are bound to be far less stressed.
Laughter like so many activities we are involved in help to relieve stress, loneliness, anxiety. We can sit on the beach at sunset, watch the waves roll in and feel the warmth of the sun in the air, this has a lovely calming, peaceful effect on us, this is very beneficial, helps to relieve stress so this is good. But we know that we are not our physical or subtle bodies, In fact the ancient Yoga txts confirm this. We are spiritual in essence therefore we need something that will nourish us. Ancient Yoga wisdom tell us that transcendental sound is the solution. Transcendental sound descends from the higher spiritual realm bringing with it spiritual potency. Often referred to as prayers, meditations, or mantras, these sounds can nourish us spiritually and give us the peace and happiness we are always searching for.
This is a very indepth subject, very enlightening and interesting. If you would like to learn more about how to meditate why not call and book in for a Meditation Class via skype, it's FREE and can be given at a time that would suit you, in the comfort of your home. Isn't technology wonderful.

A few quotes on patience - Meditation Yoga Palm Beach
Other Thoughts on Patience:
- People who are impatient usually have difficulty resisting the need for immediate gratification. Sometimes they seem to be impulsive. Studies have shown that meditation helps with this. The silent witness meditation technique is especially helpful in this instance.
- The most famous quote about patience equates it with love: “Love is patient” (See 1 Corinthians 13:4).
- If you don’t have patience, you may find it difficult to reach your goals. Usually challenges and obstacles arise after setting important goals. As we know, physicians recommend the regular practice of meditation to help develop patience, determination and be able to handle the stress that comes along with trying to rise above challenges and ultimately reach the goals a person has set for themselves.
- People with patience follow the motto, “if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.” People who lack patience tend to quit when things get difficult. Meditation techniques such as the silent witness, help a person to take a 3rd party view of what's taking place in their life, they take the position of observer and therefore are able to remain aloof and seperate from; the stress they may be experiencing. This obviously has tremendous benefits.
- Getting impatient won’t make things move along any faster, so why get worked up?
- All things come round to him who will but wait. — Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
- Like farmers we need to learn that we cannot sow and reap the same day. –Anonymous
- Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet. –Jean Jacques Rousseau
- He that can have patience can have what he will. –Benjamin Franklin
- Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience. –Ralph Waldo Emerson
- Everything comes gradually and at its appointed hour. –Ovid
- How poor are they who have not patience! What wound did ever heal but by degrees. –Shakespear
- One moment of patience may ward off great disaster. One moment of impatience may ruin a whole life. –Chinese Proverb
- Patience is the companion of wisdom. –St. Augustine
- You can learn many things from children. How much patience you have, for instance. –Franklin P. Jones
- Patience is something you admire in the driver behind you and scorn in the one ahead. –Mac McCleary
- “Rome was not built in a day” Like the building of Rome, in times of stress, just stay the course and be patient.
See you in class soon :)
